Drive chains are getting smaller, which also requires smaller components in the drive train.
For high torsional stiffness and large misalignment, several metal bellows couplings are available from ENEMAC.
For the low-cost miniature metal bellows coupling EWKA a special adhesive is used to connect bellows and hubs. This bonding process allows applications in the temperature range from 253 K to 363 K.
The coupling is available in six sizes between 0.4 and 8 Nm. It is possible to hold shafts with diameters of up to 26 mm.
The miniature metal bellows coupling is fixed force-fitting on the shaft ends via offset threaded pins and thus ensures a backlash-free and low-vibration torque transmission.
The main application area the EWKA is the control and regulation technology.

In recent years, the company ventured a step above the usual "clutch plate" addition in the direction of clamping technology. Mechanical clamping screws and clamping nuts and hydromechanical spring clamping cylinders provide an alternative to simple workholding equipment such as clamps or clamping claws as well as to semi or fully automatic clamping devices.
ENEMAC clamping technology is very versatile. Whether for tool or workpiece clamping, in materials handling, bending and welding engineering - either as original equipment or aftermarket item.
